Happy the Turtle - our class pet
Meet Happy, our class pet! Every week, a girl or a boy will get to take this brilliant turtle home to enjoy the weekend with. That particular child is our Star of the Week and will take Happy to different places and enjoy doing many activities with our pet. Parents can support this activity by taking photographs and writing a short story about what transpires during the weekend. Aside from Happy, the child will also get a Star of the Week certificate and the Happy book which he/she needs to return to school the following Monday to share their adventures with the rest of the children.
Important Sections in our Blog
These are just 2 of the important sections of our class' blog aside from the regular posts I write. The first one, which is the 'email subscription' allows you to key in your email addresses and you get to automatically receive a notice in your address that there is a new post from me.
The second one, "Teacher Resources" contain links to websites that are useful to what we do everyday. This particular section will be updated regularly to add more websites for you to check.
Should there be any question about these 2 sections, please feel free to ask me. I do hope you find these tools useful the same way as we do at school.

Tuesday, 04 September
Today was the first day back after a long weekend and also the first time all the children in F2 unit coming together at the same time. The atmosphere in the classroom this morning was way different from what we have had last week. There were children everywhere and noise echoing around the classroom! Yay! It is beginning to sink in that F2 now is a unit and it means that we have 29 children in all (at the moment).

And Bao Nghi, playing with the dough and the playmat.

The greatest sign
of success for a teacher... is to be able to say, "The children are now working
as if I did not exist."
