Children have been very busy practising for the upcoming TE performance. I am very excited to see them showcase what they have been preparing for.

House Visit Trip Slideshow

We have been learning a song about the Magical Musical box in our F2 music sessions recently.  The box is musical, because as we pass it round the circle is makes a sound which is a little bit like a mixture between a maraca, a jingle bell, a tambourine and a pair of finger cymbals.  The children have really enjoyed listening carefully and distinguishing the different instrumental sounds as we sing and play.  The box is also magical because when we play a special game we can make the box play music just by opening the lid!  To perform this kind of magic, each child in the class had to choose their own instrument to play and when Mr Euan opened the box at a certain point in the song, we all played together watching closely to see when the box would close again and tell us to stop playing.  You can hear what this sounded like by listening to these recordings on our MUSIC BLOG.

House visit - Imperia

We have been learning about different places a person lives and we have been looking at houses, bungalows, flats and caravans in the classroom. Today, we visited Imperia, where i live. Children were very much excited about this trip not only because they get to see my flat but also to play with my daughter, Gianna.

They were very well-behaved throughout the trip and they listened to everything i said whilst going around each room in my apartment. At the end, they played in the playground with so much joy and excitement.

Healthy Living Week

Children enjoyed eating breakfast with everybody this morning. We talked about how important eating healthy breakfast everyday.

We had cereals, bananas, toast and milk and they were very delicious!
